The Secret to the Best Deviled Eggs Recipe (5 Ingredients, 20 Minutes) by 30Seconds Food

Are you a deviled egg connoisseur? Grandma's simple deviled egg recipe created a lot of conversation across our social media channels. We loved it! After reading through all the comments and your great ideas, we determined that pickle juice is a favorite ingredient to use in deviled eggs. We have no doubt that this creamy pickle juice deviled egg recipe will become a fan favorite snack.
First, cook the hardboiled eggs. After peeling, slice the eggs in half lengthwise and separate the whites from the yolks. Mash the egg yolks with the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, chopped pickles or pickle relish, pickle juice (!) and granulated sugar. If you like a little spice, add a few shakes of your favorite hot sauce. Mix it together well then spoon or pipe it into the egg whites. Keep these gluten-free and vegetarian eggs refrigerated until you are ready to eat (devour) them.

Ingredients
- 1 dozen hardboiled eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons chopped pickles or pickle relish
- 2 teaspoons pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- hot sauce (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the cooked yolks to a bowl. Set the whites aside.
- Mash the yolks. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, pickles or pickle relish, pickle juice, sugar and hot sauce, to taste. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until well combined. (Use whatever type of pickle juice you like. Sweet, spicy, dill or anything in between.)
- Fill the egg whites with the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Store the eggs in an airtight container.
