My family loves deviled eggs. One of my most requested recipes is spinach and bacon deviled eggs. But, the process of peeling the eggs always fills me with dread. Anxiety. Avoidance. Especially when making a bunch for Easter!
Don't use really fresh eggs, they say, and the shells will come off easier. Put baking soda in the water, they say, and the shells will just slide off. Add a little vinegar to the water and peeling those cooked eggs will be a walk in the park. I'm calling BS on all of these theories.
If a hard-boiled egg will peel easy is just hit and miss – unless you cook them in an Instant Pot®. If you use your Instant Pot® for just one thing, let it be hard-boiling eggs. It's a hard-boiled egg lovers dream come true. Check out the health benefits of eggs.
