Moist and sweet, this easy Moroccan orange cake recipe doesn't need a cake frosting. With fresh orange juice and orange zest, this cake is full of citrusy flavors.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Here's how to make it:
- Beat together the eggs and sugar until thick.
- Beat in the vegetable oil.
- Whisk in the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the orange juice and beat until smooth.
- Stir in the orange zest and vanilla.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 40 minutes. Cool the cake about 10 minutes before inverting on a rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
