To make the easy cherry cobbler grab a box of vanilla cake mix, a can of cherry pie filing and a stick of butter. The ingredients are layered in a square baking pan, then baked until hot, bubbly and golden brown.
Serve this cherry cobbler recipe for dessert warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. If you wanted to make it even more decadent, throw in a handful of dark chocolate chunks. Oh, my.

- 21 ounces (1 can) cherry pie filling
- 15 ounces (1 box) vanilla cake mix
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, cut into slices

- Pour the pie filling into a square baking pan. (Try this recipe with other varieties of canned pie filling.)
- Sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the pie filling.
- Cover the cake mix with the butter.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the microwave. This recipe could be doubled and baked in a 13x9-inch baking pan.
