Gwyneth Paltrow’s Honey Turmeric Drink Recipe: A Healthy Anti-inflammatory Tonic by Ann Marie Patitucci
Actress, bestselling cookbook author and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow has followed a diet of clean eating for many years. She has spoken about following a more anti-inflammatory diet which she hopes will help with inflammation and other long-haul COVID-19 symptoms. If you happen to have a chronic health condition or autoimmune condition, you may have found that anti-inflammatory foods and beverages help.
Paltrow recently invited Good Morning America into her kitchen to share some of her favorite healthy recipes. Here is her honey turmeric drink recipe for an anti-inflammatory tonic.

Total Time: 10 minutes
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger juice
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric juice or turmeric powder
- 1/2 fresh lemon, juiced
- local honey, to taste (Paltrow uses about 1 tablespoon)
- small crack black pepper (activates the turmeric to maximize benefits)
Here's how to make it:
- Build the tonic in a mug, beginning with fresh ginger juice.
- Add hot water 3/4 to the top of the mug.
- Add additional ingredients, stir and enjoy.
