Cara Cara Oranges Are This Year's Trendiest Citrus Fruit! Here's Why!

If you haven’t tasted a Cara Cara orange yet, you should! I guarantee these will stand out as one of the most delicious citrus fruits you have ever tasted!

Cara Caras are as tasty as they come, and they are popping up on menus everywhere. And it’s easy to see why. Due to this fruits reputation, chefs are making this orange one of this year’s trendiest options.

Cara Cara oranges have a slightly rosy orange peel, and the inside is reddish pink and super juicy. Cara Caras taste a lot like regular oranges, but they're sweeter and don't have the sour tang that some types of oranges do. They were created by crossbreeding the Washington navel orange with the Brazilian Bahia navel orange.

If you haven’t tried one yet, you should!

Oh Chef Gigi Gaggero I LOVE Cara Cara Oranges! They have them at our Costco. But I'm super excited to move to Florida and have my pick of fresh oranges. Where are Cara Cara Oranges grown?
