- 4 thick pork chops
- 1/4 cup fruit jelly or fruit preserves
Here’s how to make it:
- Heat a little olive oil in a skillet. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and brown them on both sides. Remove to a baking dish or sheet pan.
- Bake the pork chops in a preheated 400-degree F oven until cooked through, about 15 to 25 minutes depending on thickness, basting often with the jelly or preserves. (Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your pork chops. Use whatever type of fruit jelly or preserves you like. Think apricot, peach, raspberry, strawberry, fig or even plum.)
- Let the pork chops rests a few minutes before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the microwave.
