Easy Watermelon Pizza Recipe: Celebrate Summer With This Healthy Watermelon Pizza Appetizer Or Dessert Recipe

Fruit is always a healthy choice, but in the summer, the refreshing factor hits an all-time high. Kids love foods presented in a different way, and watermelon is a winner. Not only is it a great way to keep everyone hydrated, it's also naturally sweet (with no added sugar). The next time they ask for a snack, serve them this fun and simple watermelon pizza. This easy watermelon pizza recipe is also a perfect appetizer or dessert for a summer get-together.

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • whole watermelon
  • blueberries
  • cherries
  • grapes
  • raspberries
  • blackberries
  • feta cheese (optional)
  • fresh mint (optional)

Here's how to make it:

  1. Cut the watermelon into rounds.
  2. Top with the berries, cherries, grapes, and feta cheese and chopped mint, if using. Serve.

Note: You could freeze the fruit (not the watermelon) before adding it to the "pizza."

sounds so refreshing! I was outside helping with a yard sale about a week ago in the 90+ degree heat. The only thing that helped quench my thirst was watermelon!!
