Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 4 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Whisk in milk.
- Bring mixture to a boil and cook, stirring, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the butter and vanilla.
- Pour into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill about 2 hours.
