How to Peel a Kiwi in 30 Seconds or Less, Just Like a Chef! by Chef Gigi

Cooking Tips Fruit

Kiwis are slippery and cutting them can get messy. If you're not careful, you can ruin the fruit's gentle juicy flesh. Try this pro chef tip! It takes some practice, but here's a good starting point:

  • Place your paring knife gently in between the skin and the flesh of the fruit.
  • Proceed to cut toward yourself, peeling back the skin to form a handle.
  • Once you have formed a handle, slice the fruit evenly.

It’s that easy. Enjoy your kiwi!
