Think the margarita is the most loved cocktail in Mexico? Think again! It's the Paloma, a refreshing drink made with grapefruit juice and tequila.
- 1/4 cup grapefruit juice
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup club soda
- kosher salt, lime or grapefruit segment, for garnish (optional)
Here’s how to make it:
- In a highball glass, combine the grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add ice.
- Pour in the club soda.
Want to fancy it up? Garnish with a grapefruit or lime segment and/or rim the glass with the kosher salt.
