Ingredients
- 6 rice cakes
- 1 tin Safe Catch sardines (or your favorite sardines)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 3 - 4 tablespoons barbecue sauce (Any will do!)
- lettuce, shredded or thinly chopped
- fresh cilantro, chopped
- green onions or chives, chopped
- watermelon radishes, cut in triangles (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Add your sardines to a small mixing dish. Break apart your sardines with a fork. You can drain the water from the tin, if you prefer.
- Add in your mayonnaise and barbecue sauce and salt and pepper, to taste. Combine evenly.
- Lay out your rice cakes on your plate and top with lettuce.
- Evenly distribute spoonfuls of your BBQ sardine salad on top of each rice cake.
- Finish with cilantro, green onions plus any other garnishes you wish!
