Is self-care on your 2025 list? A sustainable self-care program is rooted in a deep sense of worthiness and self-love.
Start each day by reinforcing the following key beliefs that may help your mental health:
- I love myself and am worthy of taking good care of myself. I will commit to doing something each day that is just for me and that brings me joy (even a 5-minute call to a friend or a 10-minute walk around the block).
- I am enough. I will remind myself daily that I am doing the best I can to care for myself and my family. I will be thoughtful, kind and compassionate with myself and others. I will not compare myself to other moms or judge myself harshly.
- I am grateful for my body. I will be kind to my body by eating nutrient-rich foods, drinking plenty of water, exercising regularly (even 15 minutes a day) and getting adequate rest.
Happy New Year!
