Valentine's Fun With the Kids? Have a Pajama Party! by Holly Budde

Found out my husband will be traveling for business on Valentine's Day. That blows my original plans! Now it's just me and kids, so a four-course meal is too much work. I've come up with a better idea – a pajama party!

• I'm letting each kid invite a few friends.

• They'll wear PJs or their shirt inside out, kids' choice.

• Keeping it simple, we'll have strawberries with yogurt dip, diced watermelon, hot dogs and pink lemonade (all "pink" of course).

• A dance-off and games will make it more fun.

Kids have school the next day, so everyone goes home early, we're already in PJs and ready for bed!
