Having a strategy may help decrease the anxiety of the job-search process. A smartphone calendar is a great tool to use to keep you organized and on track toward your career goals. Each day write down a job search task that you’ll complete for that day. For example:
- Day 1: Make a list of 10 companies you would like to work for and follow them on social media networks.
- Day 2: Find the name and contact info of the head of the department.
- Day 3: Visit the company’s website, find their event calendar and pick five events to attend.
