With all the new-and-improved fancy toys and crafts on the market, we often forget about some of the golden oldies we grew up with as kids. I was reminded of this over the weekend when my son and I started the project making homemade Valentine's cards for his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. 

Digging deep into our craft box, I pulled out glitter and construction paper. Creative and compassionate, he came up with phrases that I spelled out with old-fashioned squeeze glue as he topped it with a myriad of glitzy colors. This quick, fun craft truly shines, delighting kids and adults alike!
