Howdy from Austin, Texas! I'm so excited to be here, not only because it is beautiful, but also because it is home to the amazing Allison Peacock. While all of our #30Seconds contributors are special in their own way, Allison holds a dear place in my heart because she is one of the original launch contributors to 30Second Mom (which has since evolved into 30Seconds.com). It means so much that she believed in our mission even before the site was live. 

Allison raised four kids, now ages 20 to 30, and she has shared many great tips for parents with us. Now as an empty nester, she focuses on health and wellness in a very unique way. "I am an integrative medicine evangelist, sacred activist and teacher of practical mindfulness," Allison says. "I'm passionate about helping others develop an intimate relationship and energetic exchange with nature."

Having a strong interest in these topics myself, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with Allison about them when I met her for the first time in real life (IRL) today!
