When schools cancel yet another day because of snow or my kids are on winter break, here's an idea I came up with!
- Take an empty basin and fill it with snow.
- Give your kids some spoons and cups.
- Cover a table with a towel.
- Let your kids have fun.
Don't have snow? Fill it with rice, pasta, sand, shaving cream, goop, slime, water or plain flour. Messy, sensory play will keep your children engaged for a while and stimulate their brains and senses. Spread a tablecloth on the floor and table for easy cleanup.
