Hey Donna John , this is the recipe I was looking for! Question: can I substitute Cool Whip or other already-whipped cream instead of whipping the cream myself? (That sounded bad, LOL!) Looking for shortcuts, ha. Thanks!

I don't see why not, Elisa All Schmitz 30Seconds . It may have a lighter consistency. I bought the new Redi Whip made with almond milk yesterday. Got the last can and the coconut milk variety was sold out. Guess people like non-dairy options. I'll let you know how it is tonight after I decorate the vegan chocolate cheesecake I made last night. The filling was really good. Think it was a success. You'll know if the recipe is on 30Seconds soon. :-) Let me know how the pumpkin mousse comes out.

We are having our vegan Thanksgiving tonight and I wanted to attempt my first vegan dessert. It's a no-bake chocolate cheesecake pie made with silken tofu. My first time cooking with tofu. The crust is Oreos (yes, they're vegan!). The filling tasted really good even before it was cold, so have high hopes. Happy Thanksgiving!!
