What Would I Do If I Knew I Could Not Fail? Here's My Unexpected Response... by Stephanie Cannoe
What would I do if I knew I wouldn’t fail? My response to that question was unexpected: “To bring people together in community and to inspire each other to live the life we’ve imagined, to make those connections collectively and to support each other on our way.”
Failure is always an option, and that mindset doesn’t scare me because I know it is just that – a mindset. Based on the typical model, failure is the opposite of success, but when I “fail,” I discover that which I am not and this always leads me to a better understanding about who I am.
To attain my vision, I realize that I don’t even know where to begin, but I follow my inner voice, which I trust is paying attention and I am literally just throwing out an image before me. My heart is clear. My nature and role is often to INSPIRE others and to spiritually see and I have a need to express this energy and to share my gifts.
When I ask a question and I remain curious and stay open, the universe always rushes in with people and situations to answer that question as a response and to help me define what the best next step is. My idea is to support this process; I think it would be special to offer this to each other in community and to meet each other’s needs. There are no experts or fees for a service. The only goal is to connect to life more meaningfully with each other and the world. To live a wish-fulfilled life and to define what that means both personally and in community.
The norm is to support each other’s unique vision and to make those connections that will strengthen and support each other’s goals. We are enough already, there is NO self-help or expert advice to seek. I envision a structure that is similar to a barter system, we bring what we have to offer, and the possibilities are endless. What if we can change the world together?
To live the life you’ve imagined is an unending goal, there is no arrival or destination, rather a collective energy to come together in community more meaningfully. No “I” in TEAM, or competition, only I am the expert on my heart’s desires and only we can willfully support those visions for one another to create something far grander than what we can do alone. Who knows where it might take us, what if within our own communities we can create a more meaningful world and not just for ourselves, but for us all.
If you support my vision, I’d love to know what this means to you. A journey of a thousand miles does begin with a single step.
