Homemade Slime & Goop: 2 Easy Craft Recipes for Kids

My kids refuse to play outside when it’s cold, so I'm always looking for new things to make at home for them to explore. Slime and goop are two are the easiest things to make.

For slime you’ll need:

  • 1 cup clear glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup liquid starch
  • food coloring
  • glitter (optional)

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Combine all the ingredients.
  2. Store in an airtight container.

For goop you’ll need:

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • food coloring

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Mix together cornstarch and water.
  2. Add water slowly until the mixture is thick.
  3. Add a few drops of food coloring to mixture.
