Things don't always go as planned. Often you plan to do a workout but something else comes up. The problem with working out is that there is a mental part of it that brings disappointment when you can't follow through. Having a quick-fire workout ready is a surefire way to keep on track. Keep it in your back pocket and pull it out when things change – as they always do. Here's one of mine – the 30 Workout (following the 30Seconds theme, of course!). And it's fun to do with kids.
- 30 pushups
- 30 leg raises
- AMAP diamond pushups in 30 seconds (place your hands in a diamond shape, lower to the ground and push back up)
- 30-second plank
- 30-second sprint (if possible)
If you can't do 30 of any exercise, do 30 seconds of it. All exercises should be done one after the other for three rounds.
AMAP = as many as possible
