A chaffle is a low-carb and high-protein waffle that's made with egg and cheese. How delicious this chaffle waffle recipe is may surprise you. This easy chaffles recipe is the perfect breakfast, brunch or snack if you're on a keto diet or low-carb diet. Or if you just love waffles!
The gluten-free, low-carb and high-protein recipe has a super short shopping list. Like we said, just two simple ingredients: eggs and mozzarella cheese. (Check out the health benefits of protein.)
The eggs and mozzarella cheese are mixed together then cooked in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown. So quick and easy.
Variations: Stir in some extras if you're so inclined like fresh chopped chives, green onions, minced red pepper or whatever you'd like. Grind some fresh black pepper into the batter or over the top when serving. It may remind you of cacio e pepe!
Serve the chaffles with butter and syrup (try our brown sugar syrup), whipped cream, honey, maple syrup, fruit or plain. This low-carb waffle recipe that went viral will be your new favorite two-ingredient recipe.
