That's exactly what happened in San Diego, when a 5.2-magnitude earthquake affected the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Five African elephants felt the quake and sprung into action, with the zoo's older elephants encircling the younger ones in order to protect them. Truly heartwarming to see. We should all be more like elephants!
