Cheri Tracy started started Orglamix because she couldn't find healthy, natural cosmetics in a wide range of colors. We talked to her about her favorite shades and her passion for quality.

• On her primary goal: "The 'mineral foundation' I was using had 47 ingredients! My goal was to create healthy cosmetics using minimal, pure ingredients in a wide range of shades, like MAC," says Tracy.

• On beauty and wellness: "Keep it simple. I'm a busy mom, so I like to use products that multitask. Our loose shades can be used as eye shadow, eye liner, blush and mixed with any gel, cream or gloss to form a variety of textures. My favorites include Pink Grapefruit, as a blush. Pearl as a highlighter. Moonstone gives a hint of sheer gold sparkle that brightens eyes. I also use our Turmeric Scrub twice a week -- it instantly brightens dull, fatigued skin."

• On being cruelty-free: "I love animals. I was the kid who ran around after a rain, picking up worms from the sidewalk. Switching to cruelty-free products is one of the best ways to say no to animal testing. Our buying decisions can have a big impact on animals across the world."
