Your Perspective of Life: How to Brighten Your Day With the Bright Side!

Your perspective in life will color the way you feel. In any situation there will be pros and cons. Appreciate the upsides to the situation and it won't seem as upsetting. Try asking yourself: 

  • What would life be like without...? 
  • How long is this going to last compared to my life span?
  • Is there anything I can learn from this? 
  • Has there been benefits from this (e.g. chance to step outside the comfort zone)?
  • Does this prepare you for harder challenges ahead? 
  • How could the situation have been worse than it is now? 
  • What do I have to be grateful for in my life now? 

Remember, there's much to be smiling for.
