This Butter Swim Biscuits Recipe Is To Die For (6 Ingredients, 30 Minutes) Bread/Muffins Side Dishes Brunch Budget Recipes Breakfast Gluten-free Dinner
Just when I thought I’d made all the great biscuit recipes out there I saw this recipe for butter swim biscuits. As the name mentions, this dough is baked into melted butter, making the biscuits so moist and delicious. You’ll want to make this biscuit recipe over and over again.
This homemade biscuit bread recipe has simple prep and only requires six ingredients. My husband actually named these the “to die for biscuits” because he loves them so much. (And also asked me to promise to make them again soon!)
Here is what you need to gather from your fridge and pantry to make these easy butter swim biscuits: butter, flour (all-purpose or gluten-free), baking powder, granulated sugar, salt and buttermilk. If you don't have buttermilk, here's how to make buttermilk in five minutes using two ingredients.
Serve these tender, buttery biscuits for breakfast or brunch, or as a side dish with dinner. You could even pile on shaved ham and cheese for delicious southern-style ham sandwiches.
