Honey Vinaigrette Recipe Is a Salad Dressing You'll Be Sweet On Sauces/Condiments Salads Gluten-free Low Sodium Recipes
This five-minute dressing vinaigrette recipe is fresh and lightly sweet, and great on any summer salad. I recently served this homemade salad dressing on this beautiful peach, corn and tomato salad. But really, any green salad would be more delicious when tossed or drizzled with this sweet honey vinaigrette.
To make this simple vinaigrette recipe, you will need just four simple ingredients (plus salt and black pepper). Here is your shopping list: cooking oil, white balsamic vinegar, healthy honey and red onion or shallot. The ingredients are shaken together in a jar, or whisked in a bowl, until combined. So quick, fresh and easy!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup neutral cooking oil, such as canola oil
- 1/3 cup white balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons minced red onion or shallot
- kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
Recipe Notes
- Some neutral cooking oils are canola oil, vegetable oil, sunflower oil and grapeseed oil.
- This recipe makes about a 1/2 cup of dressing. You can double the recipe, if desired.

- Combine all ingredients in a clean jar. Cover with the lid and shake until fully blended.
- Use immediately or chill until ready to use.
