My usual go-to is a regular margarita, frozen or over ice with a little salt on the rim. But my new favorite is definitely this refreshing tropical pineapple margarita recipe. This frozen margarita is really so easy to make! Just pop the ingredients into a blender and give it a whirl. You've got a tall glass of frozen heaven in your hand in about five minutes.

To make these sweet, tart frozen cocktails you will need frozen pineapple chunks, ice, tequila, limes for juicing, simple syrup and either Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec. Ingredients
- 5 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 3 cups ice
- 1 cup tequila
- 2/3 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (see Recipe Notes)
Recipe Notes
- Make your own simple syrup to keep in the fridge for up to a month. All you need to do is combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Transfer to a jar and place in the fridge for at least an hour before using.
- This is a thick margarita. If you like a looser drink, add a little more alcohol or water.

- Put all the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Taste and adjust ingredients, if needed.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
