Aldi's Olive Salad Inspired This Creamy Whipped Olive Cheese Spread Recipe (2 Ingredients, 5 Minutes) Appetizers Mediterranean Diet Recipes Italian Recipes Snacks Budget Recipes Low Sugar Recipes Low Carb Recipes Sauces/Condiments
People are going crazy over Aldi's Tuscan Garden Mild Muffuletta Style Olive Salad. No joke. Not being an Aldi shopper, I had no idea about this olive salad until it kept appearing in my foodie groups and newsfeed. Olive salad is one of my favorite condiments, and after my favorite brand was discontinued, I'm going to admit I got a little sad. So you know a trip to Aldi was in my immediate future, and I've got to say, the Aldi olive salad craze is well deserved.

Aldi describes the olive salad as "a classic blend of sliced olives and vegetables in oil. This flavorful mix is perfect for enhancing your sandwiches, salads or antipasto platters." Posts about ways to use Aldi's olive salad flooded my foodie groups. This whipped cream cheese and olive recipe is my favorite way yet to enjoy this jar of muffuletta-style olive salad.
There are only two ingredients in this appetizer and snack recipe. That's because the salad contains so many delicious ingredients – green olives, black olives, celery, cauliflower, carrots, green and red bell pepper, oil and spices – that you don't need anything else.
To make a bowl of this creamy low-carb olive spread you will need a jar of olive salad (any will work if you don't have an Aldi close by) and a tub of whipped cream cheese. Simply stir the two gluten-free ingredients together and it's ready to be devoured.
Enjoy this briny, crunchy, creamy cheese dip as a snack or serve as an appetizer at your next get-together. The creamy olive spread would also be delicious stuffed in celery, used as a sandwich spread or served with raw vegetables. Another idea is to include a small bowl on your next charcuterie board. Yum.
