Ingredients
- 15 ounces (1 box) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 48 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Here's how to make it:
- Put the cake mix, peanut butter, softened butter and egg into a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until well blended.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls then roll them in the 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Place the balls on baking sheets.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Take the cookies out of the oven and immediately place a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each cookie. (Once you put the Hershey's Kisses on the cookies, do not touch so they keep their shape.) Let the cookies cool a few minutes before removing to cool completely. Store the cookies in an airtight container on the counter.
