This strawberry salsa recipe might take you a minute to wrap your head around, but I'm telling you it's a must try. We're so conditioned to think salsa has to involve tomatoes (and remember tomatoes are fruit!) that this might seem odd, but it really delivers a wonder summer take on a traditional dip. Now is definitely the time to make this wonderful side dish, which is beautiful, sweet and tangy all at once.

Here are the healthy and fresh ingredients you need to make this homemade strawberry salsa recipe: fresh strawberries, jalapeño peppers, red onion, fresh cilantro and fresh lime juice. The ingredients are mixed together and seasoned with salt. Such a quick and easy sauce recipe!

Serve this healthy summer fruit salsa as an appetizer or snack with tortilla chips, or spoon it as a sauce over grilled chicken, fish or shrimp.
