Skinny Fresh Tuna Poke Bowl Recipe Is Healthy, Quick & Easy Seafood Dinner Lunch Salads

Raw tuna is a nutritious lean protein to add to your healthy diet. The health benefits of tuna are plentiful! If you're looking for ways to incorporate raw tuna into your diet, this easy skinny tuna poke bowl recipe is calling your name. 

The quick fresh tuna bowl is made with sashimi-grade ahi tuna (buy the best you can find), green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce or sriracha for heat, healthy sesame seeds and avocado. The tasty mixture is served over a bed of mixed salad greens. Delish! 

Serve this healthy tuna recipe as a light lunch or dinner or even as a snack. For the freshest taste, eat the tuna as soon as you prepare it. (The avocado will go brown if it's stored too long.)

Ingredients

  • 20 ounces sashimi grade ahi tuna
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce or sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4.5 ounces avocado, diced (1 medium avocado)
  • 3 cups mixed salad greens

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes and transfer them to a medium bowl.
  2. Add the green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce and sesame seeds. Mix well to ensure that the tuna is coated evenly in the sauce mixture. 
  3. Gently mix in the avocado. 
  4. Spoon the poke over salad greens.
