All you need to make this sweet peach dessert recipe is canned peaches, butter, granulated sugar, vanilla, milk, flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and cornstarch. Ingredients

• 3 cups canned sliced peaches in juice (drained), sliced fresh peaches or frozen peaches
• 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder

Topping

• 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1/4 cup boiling water

Here's how to make it:

1. Arrange the peaches on the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish. (You can use canned, fresh or frozen peaches for this easy dessert recipe. Double the recipe and bake it in a 13x9-inch pan.)
2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer. Add the milk, flour and baking powder. Mix well. Spread over the peaches.
3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Sprinkle over the batter, then pour the boiling water carefully over the top.
4. Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Store any leftover cobbler in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
