Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons dried Greek oregano, Turkish oregano or dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons sumac
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
- 1 tablespoon dried hyssop (optional)
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Store in a spice jar or airtight container.
Notes
- For even more flavor, toast the spice blend in a dry pan before using.
- If you want a finer spice blend, grind the ingredients together with a mortar and pestle.
