To make this low-sugar taco seasoning blend recipe you will need the following ingredients from your spice rack: chili powder, kosher salt, ground cumin, dried oregano, garlic powder and onion powder. Whisk the spices together and the homemade seasoning blend is ready to make the most incredible tacos for taco night.

Ingredients
- 1/2 - 1 tablespoon dark red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Here’s how to make it:
- Combine all of the ingredients together.
- Mix well. Store in an airtight glass mason jar. Keeps up to three months. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
When ready to use:
- Brown 2 pounds of ground beef, chicken or turkey. Drain fat.
- Add the seasoning along with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of tomato sauce and 1/4 cup broth.
- Simmer until flavors are infused and liquid is absorbed. Adjust seasonings to your preference.
