What's a Golden Elixir? A Golden Elixir drink is a creamy combination of inflammation-fighting turmeric and cinnamon, prebiotic-rich raw honey and almond milk. I discovered it while staying at The Phoenician, an inspiring resort set against the dramatic backdrop of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Ariz. Surrounded by cacti, palms and sunshine, healthier choices seem easier to make.
This golden turmeric-based drink is said to renew your mind, body and spirit because of the health benefits of turmeric, cinnamon and raw honey. Here is your shopping list for this healthy turmeric drink recipe: almond milk, raw honey, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon and optional coconut oil For a spicy kick, add a little ground cayenne pepper or black pepper (check out the health benefits of black pepper).
