- 12 ounces fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cranberries will start to pop open. (Use a potato masher to make the cranberry sauce smoother. For extra flavor, stir in some orange or lemon zest.)
- Cool completely then put in the fridge to chill. Store the cranberry sauce in an airtight container in the fridge.
