Sometimes, you want just a bit of warm, fresh bread – and you want it now. What if you could make a single serving of homemade bread in just five minutes? And what if that bread could actually be good for you? I know it sounds crazy, but this magic bowl bread recipe makes a single serving of healthy homemade bread in only about five minutes. Seriously, it's absolutely amazing.
The magic bowl bread recipe is so easy, nutritious and delicious. Made with just four wholesome ingredients that are mixed together in (you guessed it) a single bowl, this simple bread recipe just may change your life. The bread is made with almond flour, so it's naturally gluten-free. Plus you get the health benefits of almonds in every bite. Made from ground almonds, almond flour is high in protein and fiber, and it can replace wheat flour in many recipes.
How does this magic bread go from a single bowl to a serving plate in only about five minutes? It cooks in the microwave. Yes, the microwave! Here's how it works. First, gather the nourishing ingredients you'll need: almond flour, an egg, baking powder and salt. (You can add chia seeds, flaxseeds and/or sliced almonds, if you like, but they're optional.) Next, combine the ingredients in a small, microwave-safe bowl (I used a cereal bowl). Finally, microwave the mixture for 90 seconds. Presto – you've got a serving of healthy homemade bread in no time at all!
Serve this warm and wonderful bread all on its own with butter, or slice it in half to use as a sandwich bun (we love it with soft cheese). Toast it for an extra-special treat. I hope you enjoy this simple bread as much as we do – it truly feels like magic!
