This incredibly smooth and rich cinnamon mousse recipe may not actually be mousse, but it sure looks and tastes like it. The recipe incorporates one of my favorite flavor combinations – cinnamon and honey – with one of my favorite high-protein ingredients – Greek yogurt – to create a nourishing breakfast or guilt-free snack or dessert. And, with just three simple ingredients and ready in only about five minutes, it couldn't be any easier to make.
Greek yogurt provides a bunch of protein and nutrition (learn about the health benefits of Greek yogurt) along with the creamy texture that makes this three-ingredient recipe taste more like mousse than you might expect. Plus, you get the health benefits of cinnamon and the health benefits of honey. It's amazing that, in just a matter of minutes, you can turn three modest ingredients into a surprisingly delicious high-protein treat that's a wonderful addition to a Mediterranean-inspired diet.
Here are the ingredients you'll need to make this gluten-free breakfast recipe: plain Greek yogurt, cinnamon and honey. You mix the Greek yogurt and cinnamon until whipped and well combined. Then you drizzle the honey on top before serving. That's it!
You can serve this delightful snack recipe on its own or garnished with your favorite toppings (berries, fresh fruit, chopped nuts, granola, etc.). We enjoyed it topped with fresh berries and bananas for breakfast, later with granola as an energizing snack, and all on its own as a healthier dessert. So easy and delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or to taste)
Here's how to make it:
- In a small mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt and cinnamon.
- Stir or whisk vigorously to whip until well combined. Taste to see if you'd like more cinnamon or if it's enough as is.
- Drizzle with honey and serve with toppings of choice, or all on its own.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
