Cook Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 3 - 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 - 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Here's how to make it:
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli. Cook, stirring often, until broccoli is crisp-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. (If you use frozen broccoli, make sure it is completely thawed before using. If not, the broccoli may be watery.)
- Add the garlic or garlic powder and cook for about 1 minute more. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. Serve hot. (For some spice, add crushed red pepper flakes.) Store the broccoli in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
