I don’t really eat desserts very often, but every now and then I just want something just a little sweet. And that is why I love this easy strawberry smoothie recipe. Ready in just five minutes, this fruit smoothie uses real fruit and a touch of honey, if you’d like, to create a smooth, cool and filling drink worthy of being a great snack or even a light dessert.
To make this creamy banana strawberry smoothie recipe you will need to grab the following ingredients from your fridge and pantry: a banana (frozen or unfrozen), fresh strawberries (fresh or frozen), milk (regular or plant-based), vanilla extract, ice and optional honey. Check out the health benefits of strawberries and the health benefits of bananas.
Serve this vitamin-packed, high-protein, high-fiber smoothie any time for a healthy snack or for dessert after dinner. The smoothie would even be delicious (and nutritious!) for breakfast.
