Let's get out of the ranch rut and make a new, creative salad dressing! I made this beautiful charred corn salad with quinoa and topped it with this creamy barbeque tahini dressing. This smoky and sweet salad dressing recipe works well on traditional salads or try it as a dip for vegetables. So delicious!
To make this creamy barbecue tahini salad dressing you will need the following simple ingredients: tahini, barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, tamari or soy sauce, sea salt, black pepper and a little water for thinning.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon tamari or soy sauce
- sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Recipe Notes
- Use whatever kind of barbecue sauce you like. Just remember that it will affect the flavor of the dressing.
- Store the dressing in a mason jar, airtight container or salad dressing cruet.
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl or jar and mix well. Add a bit more water if the dressing is too thick.
- Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
