When you're craving chocolate, there's really nothing like a sweet, rich chocolate brownie. But if you're watching your sugar and calories, or if you can't eat gluten, you may be reluctant to partake. Well, meet your new favorite healthier brownie recipe! This three-ingredient brownie recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free, low in sodium, vegan, has no refined sugar or flour. How perfect does that sound?
To make these gluten-free brownies you only need three simple ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. Here is what you need to grab to whip up a batch of these gooey brownies: applesauce (sweetened or unsweetened), peanut butter (read about the health benefits of peanut butter) and unsweetened cocoa powder. The ingredients are mixed together, spread into a loaf pan and baked until a toothpick comes out clean. So easy!
These moist, chocolatey brownies are the perfect sweet snack or make a wonderful dessert after dinner with a cup of coffee. Make them even more decadent with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top.
