5-Minute Kujirai Ramen Recipe: The New Way to Eat Instant Ramen by 30Seconds Food

Kujirai ramen is a ramen noodle dish that's cooked with cheese, eggs and green onions. Kujirai ramen is a quick and easy snack, lunch or even light vegetarian dinner.
To make Kujirai ramen at home you will need just four ingredients. Here is what you need to grab at the grocery store, or may already have in your fridge and pantry: instant ramen, an egg, American cheese slices and green onions. The ramen cooks up in a skillet in about 4 minutes from start to finish.

- 1 egg
- 1 - 2 slices American cheese

- Use whatever flavor of ramen you like. Some come with powdered seasoning, some with dried vegetable packets and some with flavored oil. Use whatever comes with your favorite ramen to season this dish.
- For some spice, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes.
- Instead of green onions, you could use chopped fresh cilantro.
Here's how to make it:
- Put the water and ramen noodles into a skillet. Cook until the noodles are soft.
- Stir in any seasonings that came with your ramen noodles.
- Create a hole in the middle of the noodles. Crack the egg into the hole. Surround the egg with pieces of the cheese. Cover the pan and cook until egg reaches desired doneness and cheese has melted, about 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with green onions.
