I love cooking with apples. I just found this delicious apple pie spice blend recipe and had to make it for myself to add to my apple crisps, apple cakes, apple pies and other apple recipes. This homemade spice blend is so simple and is really perfect to have in the spice cabinet for delicious aromatic fall recipes.
To make this DIY apple pie spice you will need ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, ground ginger and ground cardamom. Whisk all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container or spice jar.
