3-Ingredient Tonkatsu Sauce Recipe for Your Dippin' or Drizzlin' Delight by Donna John

3-Ingredient Tonkatsu Sauce Recipe for Your Dippin' or Drizzlin' Delight

Sauces are my jam. If there's a sauce out there I haven't tried yet, believe me, it is on my list. I try not to limit my sauces on what is expected of them. For example, this three-ingredient (four if you use optional sugar) is typically served over crispy chicken or pork katsu. But why stop there? This tonkatsu sauce recipe is delicious with fried shrimp or fish, eggrolls, spring rolls or any crispy appetizer

To make this simple tonkatsu sauce you will need ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and low-sodium soy sauce. If you want it a bit sweet, grab a little granulated sugar, too. Simple stir all the ingredients together. Done!

If you want to go traditional, use this sauce on crispy fried pork or chicken cutlets. If non-traditional is more in your wheelhouse, serve it with french fries, onion rings, tater tots or whatever makes you happy. This is one Asian sauce you will keep on repeat.
