Simple Seared Ahi Tuna Recipe: You Are 10 Minutes to Dinner by 30Seconds Food

Ahi tuna, or yellowfin tuna, is a fish found all over the world. Ahi is a Hawaiian word that means fire. In pre-plantation days in Hawaii when yellowfin tuna was caught on a line, the traction from the strong-swimming fish made the line look like it was one fire. It all makes sense now, right?
When searing tuna, be sure to buy the highest quality and the freshest you can find. Seared ahi tuna is a simple dish that has minimal ingredients, prep and cooking time. Ingredients
- 2 raw ahi tuna steaks (about 1-inch thick), patted dry
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
