Ingredients
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 9 ounces (3 packages) dry ramen noodles or 10 ounces (2 packages) refrigerated ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets or save for another use)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 ribs celery, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
Here's how to make it:
- Combine the soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar and ginger in a small bowl. (If you like spicy food, add some crushed red pepper flakes.)
- Cook the ramen noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and celery and cook until crisp-tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cabbage and cook about 2 minutes. (Add any vegetable you like! Make it your own.)
- Add the ramen noodles and soy mixture. Cook, stirring, about 2 minutes or until heated through. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
