"Poisoned" Apple Cider Cocktail Recipe Is What to Serve on Halloween Night

Get into the spooky Halloween spirit with this "poisoned" apple cider cocktail recipe. Add an upgrade by using edible gold luster dust and give this Halloween cocktail creepy, golden thick-looking swirls to make quite the eerie potion!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces apple cider
  • 3 - 4 ounces spiced rum
  • 3 ounces pomegranate juice
  • splash of grenadine
  • 1/2 teaspoon edible gold luster dust (optional)
  • ice

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Fill a drink shaker with ice. 
  2. Add all the ingredients. Shake! 
  3. Strain into glasses. Garnish with black cocktail stirrer or Halloween cocktail stirrer. 

Pro Tip: Edible luster dust will settle at the bottom of the glass, so be sure to give your guests a creepy cocktail stirrer.
